Hotel service · Tangier
Hotel laundry in Tangier.
Sheets, duvet covers, pillowcases, towels and robes: we take on all the linen from your rooms and bathrooms, collected from you and returned clean, pressed and folded within the agreed time.
In a hotel, linen is one of the few things every guest touches, smells and judges without thinking about it. A badly pressed sheet or a greying towel tells on the property straight away — and ends up in the online reviews. IT’s Clean is a professional laundry in the Al Majd Industrial Zone, Tangier, handling hotel linen with industrial equipment and a route controlled from end to end.
The linen we handle for hotels
Room linen
Flat sheets and covers, fitted sheets, pillow and bolster cases, duvet covers and mattress protectors. Flat linen goes through the 3-metre ironer, which gives a taut, even finish no iron in a floor laundry can produce.
Bath linen
Bath sheets, towels, guest towels, wash mitts, bath mats and robes. These need different handling from flat linen: drying has to bring back the loft of the terry without cooking the fibre, which wears the loops and leaves the towel rough.
Bulky items
Duvets, blankets, throws, pillows and bedspreads, with programmes matched to the filling and a full dry — a critical point, since a bulky item left short of dry takes up moisture again and develops odours in the cupboard.
Service textiles
Housekeeping uniforms, dining linen if your hotel has a restaurant — see also our page on restaurant laundry in Tangier — and specialist textiles after assessment.
A collection schedule set by your occupancy
Logistics matter as much as the wash. A hotel cannot afford to wait on its linen, so we set a steady collection frequency with you, matched to your room count and your season.
- High-turnover hotels — daily collection, return within the agreed time.
- Mid-sized properties — two or three visits a week.
- Peak season and the unexpected — a 24-hour express service stays available every day from 10am to 10pm (supplement of around 30% depending on volume and facility availability).
We cover Tangier and the surrounding area: Tangier centre, Malabata, Marchan, Boubana, Cap Spartel, Achakar, Iberia, Val Fleuri, the Free Zone and the Tanger Med corridor, as well as Asilah and Cabo Negro depending on volume and route.
No mixing between properties
Every delivery is sorted and tagged by client on arrival, then handled in separate batches. Your linen comes back in full, counted and wrapped. This strict separation is a basic requirement in hospitality: it prevents losses, items ending up at another property, and stock discrepancies at month end.
What you stop having to manage
An in-house laundry rarely pays for itself below a substantial volume. Moving to a professional laundry removes several cost lines and several things to worry about:
- the investment in machines and its depreciation, plus maintenance and breakdowns in the middle of peak season;
- water, electricity and product consumption, and keeping detergent in stock;
- the staff dedicated to the laundry, their shifts and their cover;
- the floor space tied up — a freed-up laundry room becomes storage or operating space again;
- the textile wear caused by unsuitable programmes, which shortens the life of your sheets and towels.
In return you get a predictable cost, tied to your actual volume, and quality that holds steady month to month.
Capacity of more than 10,000 pieces a day
For a high-turnover hotel, the real question is not wash quality but throughput: does your supplier hold up at your occupancy peak without leaving you short of linen? We can commit capacity of more than 10,000 pieces a day to a single client, on a schedule agreed together.
This suits high-turnover properties, groups and multi-site operations. It is set up after we have assessed your volumes, your items and the collection frequency — the point being to reserve facility slots for your property rather than fitting you into a schedule that is already full.
Products your guests will not smell
Badly rinsed detergent shows on a white sheet and can be smelled on a pillow. We work with the ranges of the Belgian group Christeyns, dosed automatically by a Flux Compact unit: each washer gets exactly the dose specified, no more and no less. A growing share of the range carries the EU Ecolabel, and the formulations allow washing at lower temperatures — which preserves the whiteness and the handle of your textiles over time. The detail is on our products and process page.
Our four-step route
Scheduled collection, sorting and tagging by client, professional treatment (washing, drying, ironing, pressing), then checking, folding and delivery. Each step is set out on the home page, along with our equipment: five 50 kg professional washers, five 50 kg professional dryers and a 3-metre flatwork ironer.
Getting a price for your hotel
The quote is free and carries no obligation. To build it we need four things: your room count and average occupancy, the list of items to be handled, the estimated monthly volume (by the kilo or by the piece) and how often you want collection. A few minutes on the phone is usually enough to frame it all.
How often do you collect a hotel's linen?
The frequency is set with you according to your occupancy. High-turnover hotels generally opt for daily collection; smaller properties for two or three visits a week. The schedule is fixed in advance and stays stable.
Is linen from several hotels washed together?
No. Batches are sorted and tagged by client on arrival, then handled separately. Your property's linen comes back to you in full, never mixed with another client's.
Do you handle duvet covers and duvets?
Yes. Duvet covers follow the flat-linen route and are pressed; duvets, blankets and pillows are handled as bulky items, with washing and drying programmes matched to their filling.
Is there an express service in peak season?
Yes, a 24-hour express service is available every day from 10am to 10pm, at a supplement of around 30% depending on volume and facility availability. It absorbs an unexpected occupancy peak without leaving you short of linen.
